New York-based Photographer Fernando Colón has shot professionally since 1998. His career began in San Juan, Puerto Rico while studying Visual Arts at Sagrado Corazón University. His Fashion and Celebrity Portraits were published monthly from 1998-2000 for "EnPunto Magazine". His Sports and Event photography were commissioned weekly in 2000 by the Public Relations firm Wing Latino Group/West Indies & Grey, and appeared in their events journal "Alturas Magazine". Establishing permanent residence in New York City in 2001, he concentrated his work on Fashion while working as a test photographer for emerging models, and capturing the runway shows of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week season after season. He has since produced countless images for fashion designers, catalogs, and magazine editorials. Beyond New York, his work has taken him to London, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo.
